08-05 Vascular Function Study
NIS Labs is looking for volunteers, age 35-65 years, to be involved in a clinical trial on a nutritional supplement.
Before starting the study, all participants must have a medical examination. After completing the medical exam the volunteer will make one visit to NIS Labs at which time a nutritional supplement will be consumed. The study will require the patient to remain calm for a period of 3 hours. During the visit 3 blood draws will be required.
Requirements
- Age 35 - 65 years
- 1 morning of your time (3 hours)
- Minor circulatory problems (varicose veins, poor circulation, ankle swelling)
Exclusion Criteria
- Currently being treated for heart disease
- Medication for high blood pressure
- Type 1 diabetes
- Chronic viral illness
- Pregnancy
- Currently suffering from sexually transmitted disease
Participants will be compensated for their time.
Participants must reside in Klamath Falls or the surrounding area.
