44-07 Cholesterol Study
NIS Labs is looking for healthy volunteers to take part in a clinical trial involving an antioxidant-rich nutritional supplement.
Potential study participants must have a BMI below 30. You can calculate your BMI here: BMI Calculator.
The study requires the individual to consume the nutritional supplement daily for 14 days, and to give two blood samples: one at study start and one at the end of the study. Also, at the beginning and the end of the 14-day study, study participants will come to NIS Labs to fill out questionnaires and to have blood pressure recorded.
Requirements
- Age 18 years or older of either gender
- Blood draws
- BMI below 30
Exclusion Criteria
- Cholesterol-lowering medication
- Pregnant, lactating or trying
to become pregnant - Daily consumption of NSAIDs or
other OTC anti-inflammatory drugs
(85mg aspirin allowed) - Ongoing intensive medical treatment
for other diseases
(cancer, viral disease)
Participants will be compensated for their time.
Participants must reside in Klamath Falls or the surrounding area.
