13-05 Cholesterol Study

NIS Labs is looking for healthy people to take part in a clinical trial involving an antioxidant-rich nutritional supplement.

Potential study participants must have an increased cholesterol level but not be on cholesterol-lowering medication. Before deciding if a person fits into the study, he or she must have a medical examination. If the person does not have a recent cholesterol test, a test will be performed.

The study requires the individual to consume the nutritional supplement daily for 60 days, and to give three blood samples: one at study start, one after 30 days, and one after 60 days. Also, at study start, at 30 and at 60 days of the study, study participants will come to NIS Labs to fill out forms, and to record weight and blood pressure.
